Hello from Sweden! Just wanted to show you the result of my newly-reviewed ‘senior citizen’s project’ that I started three years ago when I retired from work.

It’s based on a Sportster 883, ’97-year model with 27,000km on the clocks and is ready for a 1200cc conversion. The front-end is remodelled with forks and brakes from a Kawasaki ZX-7R, fork crown and front screen from a Ducati Monster and 19in wheel and brake discs from Harley.

The rear-end has a 1in width and 1in extended swingarm coupled to a Yamaha XJR 1300 shock absorber. The drive is now chain-converted with a 1in offset. The rear wheel is an 18in Ultima wheel with 180 rear-section tyre. The gearbox is from a Buell and the flat-track-styled seat is padded leather from an old sofa! My other bikes include a Wide Glide, Electra Glide Ultra and a Road Glide Ultra CVO. The Sportster is now being sold to make way for my next project!
