At the recent Bonhamsโ€™ Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction, a very special machine once owned by a film legend went under the hammer.

A 1938 Triumph 5T Speed Twin, which was formerly owned by Steve McQueen, sold for $175,500. When the hammer fell and the โ€˜Cooler Kingโ€™sโ€™ ride was sold (setting a new world auction record for this machine) the audience burst into applause.

That wasnโ€™t all that made good at the auction. The beautiful 1993 Ducati Supermono (one of just 67 made) sold for $115,000, and a 1974 Munch Mammoth TTS made $112,000.
